This Tri-axis ghost detector that has been designed specifically for paranormal detection. No need to buy a detector that was designed for other types of  electromagnetic field measurements and then trying to adapt them for ghost hunts. With this detector you can organize group field trips with both teens and adults and explore the many locations that can be found around most all neighborhoods. For the serious minded or skeptics, these excursions can be a memorable experience. The Light display allows everyone in the group to observe what is happening with out crowding around the detector.

Sensing System     Three sensing systems are tuned to the X, Y, and Z axis so that the detector does not have to be rotated while searching for paranormal activity. The sensitivity can read as low as 0.01 Milligaus. Try reading that low on  meter type detectors. The amount of meter deflection would hardly be visible.  A power-line filter circuit can be switched on or off for instances where the search area may have excessive interference from electrical power lines or other power equipment. What the filter does is eliminate frequencies in the 60 cycle range.(60 Hz) It allows signals above and below that value to processed by the detector. Use of the filter depends on your search location. You can also use the detector to check for excessive EMF in the home or work place. For this type of measurement the filter switch must be set to the SUM position.

Display System  Many of the popular detectors use a meter to indicate the various field strength levels. Our detector uses LED's to indicate the field strength levels. Our reasons are simple. First: the detector readout is not susceptible to damage, Second: the readings can not be miss-read, Third: very low levels can be read as easily as high level readings, Fourth;  readings are easily viewed in a dark area, and, when in a group, all can see the readings. (Not only the person who is holding the detector.)

Dot/ Bar   A switch is provided to allow the detector to display the activity in the bar mode. (All lights starting from the lowest level stay on.) Or the dot mode. (Only the active light is on indicating the activity level)

Sound   A beep alert signal is added to alert you when the signal strength increases into the upper zones. This allows you observe other items while walking or performing other tasks. The beep sound can be turned on or off depending on your requirements.

 PARANORMAL SEARCHES   Most searches are done at night time, indoors and out doors. This detector is easily read under all conditions, day or night. Interpretation of the readings are up to the user. There are many Web sites that offer systems and procedures on how to evaluate hot areas. Most of our users already have been exposed to paranormal activity. If possible, map area to be searched for high static output levels. Avoid these known areas to reduce the possibility of a false reading.

TURN ON  Set sensitivity dial to MIN  Set power to ON  Set the filter switch to SUM. The detector will go through a self test starting at maximum readout  and slowly move to the left to the minimum readout and go out. (If you are in a highly active area the readout will stop at the reading for that area.)  You are now ready to use the system.

SEARCH     Set the filter switch to SUM or FILTER depending on location conditions. Adjust the sensitivity dial to give an indication in the first or second light. Slowly move around the area. If it is an extremely quiet area, you  adjust the dial toward the maximum sensitivity. Activity will be noted when the readouts move up to the higher levels.

POWER LINE INTERFERENCE    While searching, power line or other types of 60 Hz interference can be eliminated by setting the filter switch to FILTER This will only eliminate this type of interference, while allowing all the other frequencies to be processed by the detector.
